Viewing Album: Stuttgart, Germany 1965
By:
Charles Schultz
Dates:
9/25/1965 - 9/25/1965
Album Info:
The slide is dated September 1965, one my Dad had taken on a business trip. Many thanks to Olaf Junges for identifying the location and site. On the left we see the impressive Konigsbau (King's Building) from the mid 1800's rebuilt in 1958-59. In the background we can see the clock tower of Stuttgart's central station, the Hauptbahnhof. Built between 1914 and 1928, the structure also had been rebuilt after sustaining damage during World War II.
